In order to encourage information transparency of foundations in Taiwan and raise the public's awareness about the philanthropic sector in general, the Himalaya Foundation has been publishing since 1991 the Directory of Major Foundations in Taiwan.  Furthermore, the Foundation has also been supporting different publications in the field of Chinese studies, Economic and Financial research, as well as environment protection.
